Blenheim Palace, which is a few miles from Oxford is the home to Sir Winston Churchill and the only place that is not royal in England but still bears the name Palace.
What to Expect On Our Day Trip to Oxford & Blenheim Palace.
You will depart from London early in the morning with our chauffeur driven vehicles to oxford.
Our first visit will be at Oxford where you can have a walking guided tour to see Christ Church college, the Sheldonian theatre and Bodleian Library and even much more.
From here we will escort you to the Blenheim palace which is the main attraction in itself. The palace grounds and gardens are actually impressive and there is so much to discover in this palace. For instance, Sir Winston Churchill birth room is one of the places you will be privileged to see with a complete exhibition about the story of two great war leaders; Winston and john Churchill himself. Its dubbed ‘Churchill’s’.
Exciting stories of about 300 years are told about the Blenheim palace. Besides the palace surroundings are full of beauty from parklands to fountains and lakes. The excursion will offer so much including fun activities for kids, found in the Marlborough Maze.
